I recently decorated this room from outside, as an art teacher i always keep few things ready with me as some quick fillers. So this time i used these big size 3D flower decorate this room entrance.

I made this Ganesh Chaturthi bulletin board, Though i kept it very simple and didn't use many things to decorate it. But i think it looks great and i just love the cute Ganesha.What do you think?

Parents Teacher Meeting | PTM bulletin board

As i said in my earlier post that i was damn busy with the school projects. That is the reason you  haven't got any updates from my blogs.
Lately my colleague Twisha made this bulletin board for Parents Teacher Meeting. The material  used to make this board includes mainly the watercolors and butterfly cutouts.

Krishna Janmashtmi (Lord Krishna's birthday) is  a great festival in India. festivities are all around. In my school we not only have cultural program but also a grand mandir is created. So i made a jhula(swing) for krishna. and accordingly back drop was made.

 I am fully overworked now a days as several festivals are lined up and i have to complete all the projects on time. But i enjoy my work so no worries and no pressure.

I have made this bulletin board for Independence day. Just 2 days to go for the celebration of our 68th years of freedom. So Happy Independence day to all and try to keep clean our beautiful country and respect each other.

I had a small workshop with children and  taught them to make  Paper flowers . So together they made many flowers and later we stuck them to a paper cut into heart shape. children were very pleased with the outcome.

Another Invitation card for Independence Day. Here i deliberately stuck to Tricolour (colors of our national flag). I did try to infuse a bit floral swirl motif to add aesthetic  appeal to the art work.

Raksha Bandhan bulletin board

Raksha- Bandhan is a special festival of India . This festival celebrates the bond of love between brother and sister. On this festival sister ties a decorated band {Rakhi} on to the wrist of brother and in return brother promises to protect sister and look after her well being for the rest of her life. Also he gives her a gift. My colleague Twisha made this beautiful bulletin board for the occasion.

Kalamkari Painting

Anjali (my student) painted another Peacock painting. This particular painting has peacocks as the center image which are surrounded with 'bail'(circular floral leafy pattern ).
