The Ashoka Chakra is a depiction of the dharmachakra; represented with 24 spokes. It is so called because it appears on a number of edicts of Ashoka, most prominent among which is the Lion Capital of Ashoka. Peacock is represented symbolically just by feathers.This bulletin board is mix of these two and is made by Anindita Mitra. Happy Republic Day.

I often think we we ever have to label which love ranks higher ,is it the love for family, lover or mother's love for child or is it the love for one's mother land/country. If and when the need arises

family sacrifices their loved ones for their country. So the love for one's country reign supreme.
